Duties and Responsibilities
- Generate new business through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and follow-up
- Respond to inquiries and guide potential clients through the booking process
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing accounts
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and event-related sales communications
- Manage leads, pipeline activity, and follow-up schedules using CRM software
- Identify opportunities for upselling and repeat business
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff from sales to execution
- Deliver exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sales process
- Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and business development efforts as needed
Requirements
- Experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or account management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building ability
- Comfortable with proactive sales efforts and lead follow-up
- Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts at once
- Must be comfortable working in person
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
Qualifications
- Experience in catering, events, hospitality, retail sales, or related industries is highly desirable
- Strong closing skills and confidence engaging clients
- Experience with upselling, account development, and business growth strategies
- Familiarity with product demos, sales presentations, or consultative selling is a plus
- Professional, polished, and highly motivated
- Self-starter with strong follow-through and attention to detail
Experience
- Prior experience in sales, hospitality sales, retail sales, customer-facing business development, or account coordination preferred
- Experience using CRM tools preferred
- Prior event or catering sales experience is a strong plus

Pay: $72,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
